The Viking Jr. Team is a team
from Stavanger Norway and is a part of the Viking Hockey Club.
X In Norway the Junior Hockey
league consists of 10 teams from all over Norway for the 1999-2000
season. The age limit of the players
is under 19 (for this season players must be born in 1982 or after),
however each team is allowed to have 3 players at the age of 19 ( for this
season each team can have 3 players born in 1981) up until the finals
begin. When the finals begin only players born in 1982 or after 1982 are
allowed to play. There is no age limit for women that play in this league. The regular season consists
of 18 games, each team plays the other teams twice. After these 18 games
the 8 best out of the 10 will go on to the playoffs. The playoffs start
in February.
